The climax of Kireedam has been changed from a negative end to a positive end, after the movie was released, as fans were disappointed with the negative end.

When Deccan Chronicle reported this news, it added saying " the last time this happenned was 35 years back, when vasantha maaligai's climax was changed" I couldn't help but laugh at the ignorance of a leading newspaper.
