hi i think it was msia vasudevan who sang oru kootu kiliyaga. and tms did sing songs even in the late 80s like in thai naadu under manoj gyan's music.

any way i just came across this blog yest and i think its fantastic!

Absolutely. Karumbu is right. 'Oru Koottuk Kiliyaaga' is sung by Malaysia Vasudevan.

As for the actual last song of TMS, I resorted to Google; I'll come back once I find it.

hey it is malaysia vasudevan only.. from the voice itself we can understand... also there was a mis understanding between raja sir and tms sir.... when TMS sir went to ceylon ,he was interviewed by ceylon radio,asked him to comment on particular raja sir song after annakili.... tms sir was promised his comment would not go on air..he comented about raja's sir music and a particular song.... it was broadcasted in ceylon radio..in the next weeek itself raja sir replied in a newspaper to tms sir comments.... from that incident he didn allow tms sir to sing in his movies .. i heard tms sir suffered from poverty and requested him to give a chance.. i donno wheather raja sir gave a chance to him.......

tms has mentioned several times that his luck and life changed a U turn after singing "en kadai mudiyum neram idu" and "naan oru raasi illa raaja" from that TR movie
