How many Tamil films have been named after districts in Tamil Nadu?
Four to my knowledge - Madura, Sivagangai Seemai, Thoothukudi & Dharmapuri. I won't count Coimbatore Mappillai in this list.

Well, if you take Madras to Pondicherry in its literal sense, all districts in the route should qualify :-)

if we count titles that contain district names then we can add Salem Vishnu Pudukottayilirundhu Saravanan, Coimbatore Mappillai, Kanchi Thalaivan & Singara Chennai. I won't include Annamalai in the list. Tirunelveli should definitely be in the list. Thanks for plucking all this out of your memory.
