  • Prakash: Thanx for reminding me of Iravu Pookkal. It had some gorgeous tunes by Raja anna. Do you recall 'Malli malli jaathi malli aala asathuthamma'. Of course, KSMS had that evergreen 'Manidha manidha' sung by Das anna. The other excellent director who vanished after two films was Rudrayya. Music again was by Raja anna!

  • A friend informs me over phone that, sridhar rajan has indeed directed another movie, pookkaL vidum thoothu starring harish & monisha. He is right and i stand corrected.

    satheesh : yes malli malli is a beautiful composition sung by MV.manitha manitha from KSMS is another beauty. You dont get to hear such cavalry kinda music these days, even from IR. one exception is aruna kiraNa Deepam from Guru ( malayalam). especially the prelude that lasts for more than 2 minutes... have listened to this?

    IR ai theme-a vechu oru offline meet poduvoMa? in some nearby teakadai? volunteers?
