1. Perarasu (A flick directed by Udayan. Sounds like the maker of Tirupachi)
2. Mani Ratnam (A film directed by Jayabalan. Sounds like the maker of Iruvar)
3. Bala (A film by director Deepak. Sounds like the maker of Pithamagan)
4. Shah Jahan (A film by director Ravi. Sounds like the maker of Punngai Desam)

  • srini, that was fantastic. can you please update the post with specific data about who directed these films? bala, perarasu and shahjahan are bingo. priya, vikraman, raja et cetera are slightly stretched connections. do you wish to add them to the list? think about it.

    I didn't refer to vikraman. I said Vikram - he is the guy who directed "Alai" starring simbu.

    Priya directed "kanda naal mudhal"

    Raja is Jeyam ravi's brother who directed Jeyam as well as the recent blockbuster "unakkum enakkum"

    Anand is a movie starring Prabhu and radha - K.V.Anand has directed a movie

    amirtham - recent movie directed by vedam pudhidhu kannan - also dir of kalaignar's pasakiligal (interestingly kalaignar's kannamma was directed by baba vikram, which is a combination of a rajini and kamal movie :)

    babu is the director of the movie "ilayavan" which launched satyan, satyaraj's nephew

    Bharathy directed marumalarchi and manasthan

    Indhiyan directed magalirkkaga

    Jerry - movie by crazy mohan starring jithan ramesh - directed ullasam and whistle - he is part of the pair jd- jerry

    jeeva - a movie starring satyaraj and amala in swimming dress - also the director of 12b and ullam kaetkumae

    lakshmi is a movie starring sridevi (i think) and a monkey- also the director of mazhalai pattalangal

    Maharajan directed captain in vallarasu - kamal movie is "maharasan" - may be you can call this little stretched

    rajakumaran is prabhu's 100th movie. Also the director of 'nee varuvai ena" - he is married to devyani

    Ramana directed Vijay in Thirumalai as well as aadhi and dhanush in sullan. Actually he rejuvenated vijay's career after a string of flops

    ramu - starring gemini ganesh -directed meesai madhavan (the tamil version)

    revathy - there is a movie starring herself I think. she also directed a couple of movies like mitr, phir milenge.

    Madhu - movie starring jithan ramesh - K.Madhu directed Mounam sammadham.

    saami - directed the recent hit Uyir

    sathyam - starring sivaji (?)-director of yar nee

    sooriyan - starring sarath kumar - directed amma appa chellam.

    shakthi - starring vineet and yuvarani - director of lovely
