Thermocol is a brandname owned by BASF. In fact there is no word in english called Thermocoal.The generic equivalent word is Polystyrene.
This has grown to become a generic name - I think only in India - more like dalda, tetrapack and xerox.

The point here - if anantha has missed it is this.
The song kannum kannum nokia makes a reference to thermocol. So that is another brand that is missing in the list
