Blogeshwari's Avvaiyar Query:

Was watching Avvaiyar today and would like to know who played the role of Lord muruga in the film (in the scene 'Sutta pazham venduma, sudaada pazham venduma?). I know that the lad became a big actor later but dont know who it is. Can triviapettai help me out with the answer?

    But I read somewhere K.Balaji was introduced in Avvaiyar.

  • Then the shepard muruga may not have grown up to be a big star. Else his name would have appeared in the ist when people mention the starcast of avvaiyar which now reads as "MK Radha, Gemini Ganesh, TVKumudini, Balaji,Sundaribai & others"

  • The name (& face of) master sridhar pops up whenever the words avvaiyar and muruga are mentioned in the same sentence
    i dont think he grew up to be famous but he did act in some movies. not sure if this is who you were looking for though

  • The Balamurugan is listed as Kumar, and if I am right is actor Vijayakumar. It was Master Siridhar in the color version of Thiruvilaiyadal. Sridevi did in Kadhan karunai and baby Sumathi in later versions of other mythologies.
