No. TRR was AVM's very close friend. MGR,reportedly proposed KAT, after the cast was finalized. but AVM refused, which most of the other producers would not have done at that point.

Ok. I knew KAT was a diplomat who didnt really burn bridges with anyone - hence the doubt.
