TN Balu, died halfway through while he was directing Shankarlal. Who completed the film?

  • I guess TN Balu's previous movie with Kamal was 'Sattam en Kayil'. Isn't it Prakash? Sankarlal was released in 1981 or 82 in Sathyam. The movie had a few terrific songs by Raja anna. 'Ilangiliye onnum vilangiliye' by SPB and Jaanu maami, the pick of the lot!

  • Satheesh : I have never been to a cinema until i was 16. so, sathyam matter theriyathu. I saw shankarlal in doordrashan. and yes Sattam En kaiyil was his previous movie with kamalhassan.

    TN balu was a master story teller. He was master behind many modern theatres movies and was the integral part of modern theatres' katha ilaka.

    Raja anna, janu maami?
