In the only movie featuring Ganesh & vasanth ( sujatha's characters ) who acted as Ganesh?

Rajini Kanth.

The movie is priya and YG.Mandran acted as Vasanth.

Readers can enlighten if there is any other movie featuring these characters

  • Srini, Vasanth character was not played by YG Mahendran, but by an extra. YGM didn't act in 'Priya'. The extra who played 'Vasanth' appears in just one scene for a few minutes. Don't know this extra's name but he acted as 'KOna Chittappa' in the film 'Nethi Adi'. YGM played Vasanth's role in a DD TV series based on a Sujatha novel, sometime in 1986-87.

    i'm still trying to get the name of the kona chittappa, who brings inippu karasevu to a kezhavi , without knowing she is dead. Unforgettable comic sequence.

    Dr.Narendranin vinotha vazahkku. Rajeev played as Ganesh.

    few years ago, Sujatha's ethaiyum oru muRai was adapted for TV serial. In that serial. Vijay Athiraj played Ganesh and Vivek played Vasanth. suhasini produced that serial.

  • Prakash, an even better scene with KOna chittapa is the way he walks and Janakaraj's comment when he walks to pick up betel leaves: 'Vethala edukkarathun gaatiyum langaya thaanduriye'! You are right. The movie has some memorable comedy scenes which you can watch and laugh a 1000 times.

  • In The TV series by Suhasini, the ganesh Character was played by actor Suresh and the Vasanth was by Vijay Aathiraj from what I remember...

  • The movie never had a Vasanth Character. It was supposed to be played someone who could not manager passport-visa ontime during the shoot and hence the character was cut from the story. This was said by Sujatha himself in one of the books. Even actor Vivek played Vasanth with another guy (serial actor)as Ganesh in a TV serial telecasted based on the Novel "Kolaiuthir Kaalam"
