to be precise, it is the first Eastman Color film.
the first 'color' film was "Nadodi Mannan' where the second half was coloured. The first full length colour film was " alibabvum 40 thirudargalum". These were in Keva colour ( not sure of spelling" Then came technicolour. The first film was " Veerapandiya kattapomman" Then there was eastman color and Kaadhalikka naeramillai. (oooph)
