Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja & Bhavatharini made their respective debuts as music composers with these films.

Wrong. Karthik Raja made his much-hyped debut with Raj Kiran's Manickam. Both Manickam and Alexander sank without a trace though the songs made a minor splash. Karthik Raja made a low profile re-entry with Ullaasam, and a bigger one with Dum Dum Dum but could never rule the charts like his younger sibling.

Raj, Alexander was the first film for which Karthik Raja did his score. Unfortunately, the film got released later. So, technically I think it would be correct to say Alexander rather than Manickam.

I think alexander came 2 years after manickam, and there was one more film in between composed by karthik raja "oru oorla oru raajakumaari" So I feel that manickam is his first movie anyway.
