Pudumai p Pithan (So. Viruthachalam) - the leading light of new wave in Tamil fiction, the most well known amongst Manikkodi writers. But was he a great lyricist? He worked for Thiagaraja Bagavathar in a couple of movies (after Bagavathar was released from jail in the Lakshmi Kanthan murder case) as script writer, but didn't fare well. He died of TB if I am right.
