ok, a suggestion and a trivia:
1.Why dont you hold the answers untila day and allow people to guess - that will increase the fun?
2. Senthil had a comedy track in this film(Unakkagave Vaazhgiraen was the name I think) which was basically about him marrying 3 women, ditching one after the another. Leaving aside the fact that the track itself was as insipid as this one liner, why do I remember it 20 years after seeing it? Any guesses?

the troupe is named after the daughter. the daughter is named after the troupe. Malathi was singing for laxman shruti when she met laxman.
The orchestra was originally called Shruti, then laxman moved out with most of the artistes and started a faction that he named after himself.
